Force MD Jessie Dee has died aged 58

Jesse Dee, one of the founding members of Force MD, passed away yesterday (February 4), the group confirmed on its official Facebook page.
The star whose real name was Jesse Lee Daniels was 58 years old. At present, no cause of death has been confirmed.
“For one hell of an entertainer. ‘Jesse D’ of the great Force MD,” read a post on Force MD’s Facebook page. “He ate, slept and breathed music every day. Please give your heart to him. She was loved!!!!!!!!!! To family, friends and fans we lost a real talent today. Our condolences are with his siblings, children and the MD of the force….”
Daniels co-founded Force MD in Staten Island, New York in 1981 with his nephews Stevie Dee, Antoine “TCD” Lundy and Rodney “Khalil” Lundy “Trisco” Pearson and Charles “Mercury” Nelson.
The group combined R&B, doo-wop, hip-hop and beatboxing in their sound and were considered pioneers of the new jack swing movement.
